The Te Akeake walk is a thirty minute trail, the Maungatauhoro Te Hikoi is a ninety minute walk, while the Perimeter walk will take about two and a half hours.
The park includes plenty of picnic tables, barbeque facilities, changing rooms, a boat ramp and a campsite.
Pedestrian access is open 24 hours.
